Very few Medicare Part D prescription drug plans still offer a three month supply of a formulary drug for the cost of two months.
However, some prescription drug plans do offer a
$0 copay for a 90-day supply when purchasing Tier 1 Preferred Generics and Tier 2 Generics at a preferred pharmacy -- even more plans offer the $0 copay if you buy a 90-day supply using their mail-order service.
To see a chart of both 30- and 90-day supply cost sharing for all formulary drug tiers across all phases of coverage, you can click the
Rx$ button under the plan name on our
PDP-Finder.com plan finder.
Your plan's documentation -- Summary of Benefits and Evidence of Coverage -- will provide more information about coverage.
Also, if you are uncertain about your Medicare Part D plan benefits, you
can telephone your plan's Member Services department and asking a plan
representative for more details. The toll-free telephone number for
Member Services is found on your Medicare Part D Member ID card.
Alternatively, the Member Services telephone number for most Medicare
Part D plans can be found by clicking on the plan name or Benefits &
Contact Info button on our
