Do You have Other Health or Prescription Drug Coverage?
If you have or are eligible for other types of health or prescription coverage, read all the materials you get from your insurer or plan provider. Talk to your benefits administrator, insurer, or plan provider before you make any changes to your current coverage or you might lose your current coverage. Other types of coverage include employer or union coverage, TRICARE, the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) benefits, coverage from a special program, or from a Medigap Policy (Medicare Supplement Insurance) .

- Visit www.medicare.gov on the web, and select "Search Tools" at the top of the page.
- Call 1-800-MEDICARE (1-800-633-4227). Say "Agent" to speak to a customer service representative. TTY users should call 1-877-486-2048.
- Call your State Health Insurance Assistance Program to get free counseling for your questions about Appeals , buying other insurance, choosing a plan, buying a Medigap policy or other insurance, or Medicare rights and protections (see Other Important Contacts
for their telephone number).
